Petition for Bridge to Russell Island

TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that access to Russell Island is expensive and time consuming and with increasing population more stress shall be put on Moreton Bay Marine Park. Your petitioners therefore request the House to consider building a bridge to Russell Island that will allow quicker and easier transport and will allow improved access to sewerage to protect Moreton Bay.
